The first trailer for Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men) space thriller Gravity has hit the Internet a couple days ago. The film stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as astronauts that have a bit of a problem. From this teaser footage it looks as if Sandra Bullock gets stranded in the depths of space all alone. How terrifying is that?! Stranded in an ocean is one thing, the Open Water films have proven that. Stranded in space however is a completely different story, there is absolutely nothing around. It is the most vast thing in the universe and being all alone floating there is awful. Of course you get some pretty sights to stare at but when running out of air you can't help but panic. The problem is what more can happen in this film to keep it interesting? I have seen buried and phone booth and neither are that impressive. The later of the two is pretty good because there was a lot more going on. Alfonso Cuaron is a talented director and the talks of a tracking shot lasting 17 minutes is more than enough reason to watch this film in theaters. This movie has definitely hit my radar, I can't wait to experience this film in entirety. Watch the trailer below!
