Movie Of The Week: May 19th - 25th

This weeks movie of the week is a film that may not get better with time, but still was one hell of a ride. I am of course talking about The Hangover, the only film in the trilogy that isn't complete junk. It may not be a game changer but this movie was HUGE! it was quoted for what seems to be forever, and there is still probably a couple guys out there saying "She is a nice lady!" or some other overused quote from the wolf pack. Like I stated before most comedies die out over time and this one is no exception but if you haven't seen It before you are in for some seriously vulgar yet funny moments. If you have seen the first one, I sure hope you didn't see the second because it will ruin it all for you. The film of course stars Bradley Copper as Phil the straight man in the group (by straight I mean joke wise). Then their is Ed Helms who plays Stu the cautious and nerdy one, and Zach Galifianakis as Alan the one that made the movie funny. Alan was the key component in this film, nobody is near as funny and without him the movie may fall into the same rut as the sequels did. Nobody would even know who Zach Galifianakis is without this film and that is something worth praising. Justin Bartha as Doug aka the guy who is barely in either of the films yet he is a key component (of the first one at least). There isn't much else to say besides this is a funny movie that didn't at all need two sequels. Luckily for us, we get one enjoyable comedy which is hard to find these days.

The Hangover III is in theaters now, but lets do this series a favor and not give them a reason to make another.
